following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for SwapDrive.com and Whalemail.com.
Personal Information
SwapDrive does not participate in any marketing affiliate
programs that allow access to users' information for purposes of opt-in email broadcasts, spamming or other marketing
purposes. However, our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (including name and
email address) and demographic information in order to authenticate purchasers and Federal age-limit restrictions
(16CFR Part 312). We use your IP address, as well, to gather broad demographic information and to help diagnose problems
with our servers.
We use customer contact information from your registration form to send you information about our company only.
Users may always opt-out of receiving future information.
Security
This site has implemented extensive security measures to protect the
loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
Children's Guidelines
WhaleMail is not available to minors (individuals under
the age of 18) and does NOT:
Collect online contact information without prior parental consent or parental notification, which will include
an opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity. Without prior
parental consent, online information will only be used to respond directly to the child's request and will not be
used for other purposes without prior parental consent; Collect personally identifiable offline contact information without prior parental consent; Distribute any personally identifiable information to third parties without prior parental consent; Give the ability to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information without
prior parental consent; Entice by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity, to divulge more information than is needed
to participate in the activity.
Choice/Opt-Out
WhaleMail provides users the opportunity to easily opt-out of
receiving communications from us and our partners at the point where we request information about the visitor.
If you choose to have SwapDrive delete your account, send an email request to
support@swapdrive.com. If you would like to stop receiving product updates or other WhaleMail communication,
simply send an email with "unsubscribe" in the subject line to support@swapdrive.com.
Correct/Update
This site gives users the following options for changing and
modifying previously provided account information:
After Logging-in, click-on the Edit Profile feature. Users can change their password, name, and e-mail
address.
